SVG Air is founded in 1990 and it's an airline that is based at Argyle International Airport flying both scheduled and charter flights for its customers within Eastern Caribbean islands. It's the flag carrier of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

With a fleet of Cessna Citation CJ3, Twin Otter DHC-6-300 and Britten-Norman BN2 Islander, the airline is flying to destinations in St. Vincent, Barbados, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan and Union Island.

Baggage Policy

SVG Air has a different baggage policy for carry-on baggage and checked baggage.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers receive one piece of carry-on baggage allowance within the weight of 13lbs (6kg) and must fit under the aircraft seat. Baggage that does not comply with the baggage requirement would not be accepted by the airline and may be asked to transport as checked baggage.

Checked Baggage

One piece of free checked baggage allowance is allowed for each fare-paying passengers but this piece of checked baggage cannot weigh heavier than 44lbs (20kg).

Excess baggage can be added to the booking when booking with Alternative Airlines or contact our customer service team for assistance. A maximum of three checked baggage is allowed for each passenger but no baggage can exceed 70lbs (32kg). Baggage exceeding 70lbs (32kg) must be transported as cargo.

Check-In

SVG Air doesn't offer its passengers an online check-in service. Passengers must check in at the airport.

Online Check-in

Online check-in isn't available for SVG Air passengers, all passengers must check-in at the airport.

Airport Check-in

Passengers should arrive at the airport three hours before the scheduled departure time. As soon as passengers arrive, they should report to airline check-in counters to get their boarding passes and drop their bags. Failure to check-in in time may result in loss of fare.

Any passengers who are unfamiliar with the airport layout should spare some time to familiarise the airport layout after check-in, so they won't be late for boarding.
