About Skippers Aviation

Founded in 1990, Skippers Aviation is an Australian airline offering charter services from Perth. The airline also has strong links to the mining industry in Western Australia and operates over 100 flights a week for multiple mining companies throughout the country.

Initially, the airline offered a small number of scheduled services in Western Australia from its hub airport at Perth Airport. However, overtime Skippers Aviation stopped flying scheduled services to solely focus on charter services and flights for the mining industry. Network Aviation was previously owned by Skippers Aviation operating small aircraft like Cessnas and Beechcraft until they reached an agreement with Qantas in 2011, agreeing to sell the airline to the Australian carrier.

Check-In Information

Online Check-In

You can check-in directly for Skippers Aviation flight from the comfort of your home/office. Skippers Aviation Online Check-in available from 48 hours to 30 minutes prior to your flight Departure time. You can print your Boarding pass (Confirmation Slip) at the end of the Skippers Aviation Web Check-in. Airport Check-In

Skippers has its own departure/arrival terminal located at the Perth Domestic Airport. Passengers are required to be checked in at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers who have not checked in 30 minutes prior to flight close will not be permitted onboard and will forfeit fare.

Carry-on Baggage is limited to 4 kg in weight. If the combined weight is more than 4kg they must be checked-in and carried in the aircraft hold.

Hub Airport

Perth Airport

Perth Airport is the main airport in Perth and is the hub airport for Skipper Aviation. Perth airport deals with both domestic and international services, with two runways and four different terminals. Terminal 1 deals with international flights, while Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 deal with domestic services. Most of Skippers Aviation flights depart or arrive at Terminal 3.

Terminal 4 is operated by the Qantas Group and only serves Qantas Airways and its subsidiary, Jetstar.
