Airlines that fly within Queensland

For adventurers and thrill seekers, Queensland, a large state in the North East of the country, is a dream destination.

Queensland is divided into several regions. The city of Brisbane is the largest city in the state. From Brisbane, an unmissable stop is the Gold Coast region, just south of the city, where you’ll find beautiful beaches and notorious theme parks. The Sunshine Coast, further north of Brisbane, is quieter and home to more relaxed towns.

The eastern coast of the state is the gateway to the famous Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven wonders of the world. As well as the mainland, Queensland's islands, including Horn Island and Hamilton Island, cater to all vacation types, so whether you’re dreaming of a relaxing break or action-packed adventure you’ll find it on one of these islands.

If you want to make the most out of your trip to Queensland, the stunning Daintree National Park also draws flocks of tourists each year, who head to the park to see lush green forests and incredible natural formations like the Mossman Gorge.

Because the state is so extensive, and includes a number of islands, one of the easiest ways to discover all that the state has to offer is by air. As well as flying to Queensland from other states, all of Australia’s domestic carriers operate regional flights between the largest cities, towns and islands in Queensland.
