About PT Wings Abadi Airlines

PT Wings Abadi Airlines, also known as Wings Air, is a low-cost commuter airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It operates its flights out of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. The airline was first established in 2003.

Wings Air is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lion Air.

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers were allowed to bring one piece of cabin baggage.

The maximum weight limit for carry-on baggage was usually 7kg (15 lbs). Dimensions for carry-on baggage may have varied, but commonly accepted sizes were around 40cm x 30cm x 20cm.

In addition to the cabin baggage, passengers were allowed to carry one personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag.

Checked Baggage

The checked baggage allowance ranged from 15kg (33 lbs) to 20kg (44 lbs).

The maximum dimensions for checked baggage were 158cm (length + width + height).

Check-In Information

Online Check-In

Wings Air may offer online check-in services, allowing you to check in for your flights from your own devices conveniently. Online check-in is usually available through the airline's official website or mobile application. Online check-in opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure time and closes a few hours before the flight.

Airport Check-In

Passengers can check-in for their Wings Air flights at the airport. The check-in counters are located in the departure area of the airport. It is advisable to arrive at the airport 2-3 hours before the scheduled departure time to allow sufficient time for check-in, security procedures and any potential queues.

Cabin Classes

PT Wings Abadi Airlines, now operating as Wings Air, typically operated flights with a single-class cabin configuration. This means that the airline didn't offer multiple cabin classes such as Economy, Business, or First Class. Instead, Wings Air provides a standard seating arrangement and service for all passengers on board.

The absence of other cabin classes allows Wings Air to focus on providing affordable and accessible air travel options to a wide range of passengers. While the seating and amenities may be standard across the entire aircraft, passengers can still enjoy a comfortable and efficient journey to their destinations.

In-flight Entertainment

It's not known whether PT Wings Abadi Airlines offered in-flight entertainment. The airline operated a single-class cabin configuration therefore it may not have had personal screens on the seats and may have only provided a magazine.

We recommend bringing your own forms of entertainment onboard such as a book to read or a podcast to listen to on your journey!

Food

It's not known whether the airline offered a meal service or food onboard, however, generally an in-flight menu would be available to purchase snacks and beverages from.

Frequent Flyer Program

PT Wings Abadi Airlines, now known as Wings Air, is a subsidiary of Lion Air. Lion Air's frequent flyer program is 'Lion Air Passport'. The Lion Air Passport program allows passengers to earn and redeem points for flights, as well as enjoy various benefits and privileges.

Lion Air Passport

Passengers can earn miles by flying with Wings Air, Lion Air or other airlines within the Lion Air Group. The number of miles earned depends on factors such as the fare class, distance flown and membership tier.

The Lion Air Passport program consists of different membership tiers: Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The higher the tier, the more benefits and privileges members can enjoy, including priority services, additional baggage allowances, lounge access and more.

Members can redeem their miles for free flights, flight upgrades and other rewards offered by the Lion Air Group. The availability of rewards is subject to seat availability and program rules.

The Lion Air Passport program also offers partnerships and collaborations with other airlines, hotels, car rental companies and various merchants, allowing members to earn and redeem miles across a wider range of services.
