The airline operates a regional charter model but there were hopes for the airline to evolve into a fully scheduled carrier. Phoenix Airways began its operations in July 2014 and began flying to destinations all around the Caribbean and the Americas, including Aruba, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Dominica, Nevis etc. Phoenix Airways' CEO is a man named Neville Gumbs.

CEO of Phoenix Airways, Neville Gumbs, made a statement which outlined the cabin classes that would be available onboard a Phoenix Airways flight. He stated that there would be 7 different cabin classes in total. These are:
- Beginners
- Lite
- Elite
- Plus
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
All of the cabin classes listed above will take passengers to various destinations, at different times of the year.

The Robert L Bradshaw Airport, which was formerly known as Golden Rock Airport, is an international airport that's based on the beautiful island of Saint Kitts. The airport houses flights from around 10 different passenger airlines, including American Airlines, Air Sunshine, Sky High, Trans Aguilla Airways and interCaribbean Airways etc. Robert L Bradshaw Airport also provides facilities for cargo planes and private jets. The airport is large enough to accommodate commercial jets as well as smaller regional aircraft that arrive from around the Caribbean.
Fleet
There were plans for Phoenix Airways to operate a fleet of four aircraft, these would include a Beech (twin turboprop) King Air, a Beech 1900D, an E120 and a B737-300.
