The best airport for the US Open is Pittsburgh International (PIT), which is roughly 33 miles from Oakmont Country Club, where the US Open will take place. If you drive or take an Uber/ Taxi to the Country Club, you'll be travelling for around an hour. While public transport will take at least 2 hours and require two changes.
Which airport is best for the Open Championship?
Belfast International Airport (BFS) is the best airport for the Open Championships as it's just 46 miles from where the tournament will take place at Royal Portrush Golf Course. To cover the distance by car will take you around an hour. Whilst, public transport will take upwards of 1 hour and 40 minutes, requiring three changes.
