Novaturas is the airline name for the Novaturas group, which is a company that offers leisure and sightseeing travel. Although you can book flights on Novaturas, isn't actually an airline itself. All flights that it sells are operated by partner carriers. Its current partner carriers are SmartLynx and GetJet Airlines.
The airline has three different bases (dependent on the partner airline) but its main hub from which it operates the most number of flights from is Vilnius International Airport (VNO). The other two bases are Tallin Airport (TLL) and Riga International Airport (RIX). From its bases, the airline offers passenger flights to destinations surrounding Europe's Mediterranean sea such as Spain, Greece, Italy and many more. In total, it flies to more than 20 different destinations within Europe.
The airline has existed since 1999 and first took flight in 2000. Initially, it only flew from Lithuania but over the years, it has grown to cover most of southern Europe.
Baggage Policy
Novaturas has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers are given a free carry-on baggage allowance of up to one bag per person, with a maximum weight of 5 kg. This baggage cannot exceed the dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (21.6" x 15.7" x 7.9").
Checked Baggage
Baggage allowance depends on the allowance that the partner airline that is operating the flight gives. If passengers book with Alternative Airlines, this will be detailed on the e-ticket that is sent out after booking.
Passengers can also easily check the baggage allowance of the flight that they're buying in the search results before they select their flight, as well as on the passenger details page after they've selected their flight but before they've paid.
Cabin Classes
The airline only operates with an Economy Class cabin. The Economy Class cabin has all the fundamental features that passengers need for a relaxed and safe journey. The airline's cabin crew is always on hand to help with any requests or questions that passengers might have for the duration of the flight.
Seats
Seats are in a 3 x 3 formation and give a generous amount of legroom and width to ensure that each passenger has a comfortable journey.
Food & Drink
Passengers will have different food and drink service, depending on the flight and which airline is operating the flight.
On some flights, passengers are able to pre-book meals, with hot food such as pasta, chicken and rice and vegetarian options available, as well as a variety of snack option.
On all flights, passengers are able to order snacks and drinks, regardless of if they've pre-booked or not. This includes snacks such as potato chips, chocolate, sandwiches wraps and more. Drinks include soft drinks, tea, coffee and — if available — beer, wine and spirits.
Check-In
Novaturas passengers must check in at the airport as the airline doesn't offer online check in.
Online Check-in
Passengers are unable to check-in online for this airline.
Airport Check-in
Airpot check-in must be completed at the airport by visiting the check-in desk of the airline that is operating the flight. Passengers must have their e-ticket and travel documents ready for check-in. It's recommended that passengers arrive for check-in at least two hours before scheduled flight departure time to ensure enough time before their flight.

Hub Airport
Vilnius International Airport
Vilnius International Airport (VNO) is an international airport in Vilnius, Lithuania and the main hub airport for Novaturas. Although Novaturuas has multiple bases (differing depending on which airline is operating the flight) the airport that it flies from the most is Vilnius International. Vilnius International has one terminal building and one runway and handles over 5 million passengers per year.
The only other airline based out of Vilnius International at this time is airBaltic. Although, several other airlines fly to the airport, including Aeroflot, Enter Air, Onur Air, Smartwings and several others.
Fleet
Novaturas doesn't have its own fleet. Instead, the airlines that operate for them use their own fleet to fly. These include planes such as the Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-200, Airbus A319-100, Airbus A330-300, Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-400.
