North Air is a newly launched airline, currently in the very early stages of start-up. As of May 2021, very little has been announced, besides the initial routes that the airline hopes to operate. Air North Pakistan is a newly launched domestic airline to be based in Pakistan. The private airline will be based at New Islamabad Airport, which serves the capital city of Pakistan, which is where the airline is establishing it’s offices.

Air North Pakistan is on a mission to help boost tourism within Pakistan. The airline has plans to operate commercial scheduled passenger flights, connecting the capital of Pakistan with key tourist destinations, including Gilgit, Skardu, Chitral and Gwadar.

Baggage Policy

Information surrounding the baggage policies has yet to be announced by the airline.

Carry-on Baggage

As the airline is in an early stage of start-up, it has yet to announce what the baggage allowance will be for passengers.

Checked Baggage

Unfortunately, this information has yet to be announced. In all instances, passengers must ensure that their baggage complies with the airline's policy, otherwise may face excess baggage fees at the airport. When you book your seats through Alternative Airlines, it is easy to add additional baggage allowance to your booking (if permitted by the airline).

Cabin Classes

The airline has yet to announce what cabin classes (Economy, Premium, or Business, for example) will be available, as well as what the onboard experience will be like.

Check-In

Check-in methods have yet to be confirmed, however, it's advised that you arrive at the airport around 2 hours before your scheduled departure.

Online Check-in

It is not yet known whether online check-in is available.

Airport Check-in

Noth Air has yet to publish an announcement regarding recommended check-in times. However, in most instances, it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before scheduled departure.

Destinations that North Air flies to

Air North will operate as a domestic carrier, connecting Islamabad with popular tourist regions. Initially, these destinations will be: Skardu, Gilgit, Chitral and Gwadar.

Skardu is a stunningly beautiful natural valley packed with resorts and leisure activities such as water sports.

Gilgit is another valley and a major tourist destination in Pakistan, serving as a hub for trekking in the Karakoram mountain range.

As well as being famed for its stunning scenery, Chitral (a town on the Chitral River) is a historical and cultural hub, holding numerous festivals and events.

Gwadar is a port city located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Thanks to the city’s long sandy beaches, it attracts many domestic tourists each year.

Hub Airport

Islamabad International Airport

Islamabad International Airport is the main international airport serving the city of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The airport opened in 2018, to replace the now defunct Benazir Bhutto International Airport. The airport serves as the main hub for Pakistan International Airlines, the national flag carrier of Pakistan. Other international airlines to operate to the airport include: Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Oman Air, and China Southern Airlines.

Fleet

The airline has yet to announce what aircraft it will operate when it begins flying. However, North Air seems to have expressed an interest in an Embraer E170, which is a popular aircraft used by carriers around the world for short-haul flights.

The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
