About Moldavian Airlines:

Established in 1994, Moldavian Airlines was the first private airline in Moldova. It began operations in August 1994 and operated scheduled passenger flights both domestically and internationally. Moldavian Airlines was based at Chişinău International Airport and operated routes to Romania and Italy. The airline became a joint Swiss-Moldovan company in 1999 through a partnership with Carpatair, a regional Romanian airline.

Over the years, Moldavian Airlines faced fluctuations in passenger numbers, with a decline in passengers in 2008. Unfortunately, the airline ceased operations in 2014 and eventually shut down.
