Buy Link PNG with Alternative Airlines

Link PNG is an airline in Papua New Guinea that offers scheduled passenger flights. The airline is based at Port Moresby Jacksons Airport (POM) and is the subsidiary of Air Niugini. While Air Niugini focuses on flying to international destinations and major airports in Papua New Guinea, Link PNG flies to smaller airports in sometimes lesser-known destinations within the country. Overall, Link PNG flies to more than 10 destinations within the country.

The airline launched in 2014 on the 41st anniversary of Air Niugini. Straight from the launch, Link PNG took on a number of flights that were previously operated by its parent airline. The launch of the subsidiary allowed Air Niugini to focus on the more popular international and domestic routes, while also making sure that it offered total connectivity within the country too.

Today, Link PNG stands as one of the premier airlines for travelling to minor airports within Papua New Guinea.

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger is a free carry-on baggage allowance of 7kg. Passengers can not bring more than one item of carry-on baggage per person.

Checked Baggage

Each passenger is given a free checked baggage allowance of 16 kg. If passengers require more baggage, they can purchase excess baggage in 5kg increments.

Cabin Classes

Link PNG flies with a single Economy Class cabin. The cabin is small but offers comfort and convenience, getting passengers from A to B safely. The airline has a professionally trained cabin crew who are available to help with anything that passengers might need.

Passengers flying with Link PNG are able to check-in for their flight either online before airport arrivals or alternatively, once they arrive at the airport.

Online Check-in

Airport Check-in

Passengers can check-in at the airport by presenting the relevant travel documents to one of the agents at the airport check-in desk. Airport check-in closes 45 minutes before scheduled flight departure time and opens two hours before.
