Hub Airport

Strasbourg - Entzheim Airport

Strasbourg - Entzheim Airport located in France is an international airport and is one of the most underdeveloped airports in the area. The largest airline to operate at Strasbourg Airport is Volotea, an airline which operates both domestically and internationally.

Happy Airways claims that the development of this new airline will help to rejuvenate Strasbourg Airport and turn it into a new travel hub.

Fleet

Happy Airways has plans to use a fleet of ATR 72-600 turbopropsto operate their flights. The 78-seater aircraft will help the airline to be more environmentally friendly by burning around 45% less fuel in comparison to other twin-engine regional jets.

There are initial plans to start with two jets before the need for expansion when the airline is properly up and running.

Happy Airways also plans to use electric cargo bikes and electric cars as part of its operations in another bid to become environmentally friendly.
