Kulula.com, commonly referred to as Kulula was a low-cost airline based in South Africa. The airline operated domestic flights out of Johannesburg to East London, Gqeberha, Durban, Cape Town and George. Alternative airlines to Kulula include South African Airways and RwandAir.
Unfortunately, Kulula ceased operations in June 2022, so you won't be able to book Kulula flights and pay later, however, you can still book flights within South Africa and spread the cost of your tickets over time with alternative airlines to Kulula, such as Ethiopian Airlines and LAM Mozambique Airlines. With Alternative Airlines, you can pay later for these flights by choosing to pay with one of the many flexible payment methods we offer at checkout, including Afterpay, Klarna, PayPal Credit, Laybuy and many more. Booking your tickets through Alternative Airlines has its advantages! Can I pay for Kulula flights in instalments?
At Alternative Airlines, you can book flights with any of the 600+ airlines we ticket on our site and spread the cost of your tickets over time with flexible payment plans that we offer at checkout. Kulula is no longer operating flights as of June 2022, so you won't be able to book Kulula flights and pay later. But you can still book flights with alternative airlines to Kulala and pay later - for example, you can fly now and pay later with South African Airways or RwandAir.

Can I pay for Kulula flights using Afterpay?
Afterpay is an incredibly popular payment plan provider that we offer at Alternative Airlines. Since Kulula ceased operations, you won't be able to pay for Kulula flights with Afterpay. Instead, you can use Afterpay to pay later for flights operated by similar airlines, such as Uganda Airlines or Kenya Airways. Afterpay is currently available to residents of the United States or the United Kingdom and allows customers to split the cost of tickets into 4 equal interest-free payments to be paid over a 6 week period.
Klarna ✔
Can I use Klarna for Kulula flights?
Klarna is another popular payment method amongst Alternative Airlines customers, however, you won't be able to use Klarna to pay later for Kulula flights because Kulula suspended all flights as of June 2022. You can still use Klarna to pay later for flights with similar airlines including Zambian Airways or FlyNamibia. Klarna lets customers pay for flights within 30 days, pay in 3 instalments or pay on a monthly basis for up to 6 months. To use Klarna, you'll need to be a resident of one of the following countries: US, UK, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain.

Can I use Affirm for Kulula tickets?
Affirm is available to residents of the US paying in USD. You won't be able to use Affirm to pay for your Kulula flights over time as Kulula ceased operations in June 2022. You can still use Affirm as a payment method for flights operated by similar airlines to Kulula, such as Air Botswana or FlySafair. Affirm lets you split the cost of your tickets so you can pay back over a 3, 6, 12 or 18-month period. The length of repayment entirely depends on the value of your flights. For even more flexibility, you can pay later for your flights on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

Can I pay for Kulula flights using Tabby?
Kulula stopped operating flights in June 2022 - this means you won't be able to book Kulula flights and choose to pay later with Tabby. At Alternative Airlines, we ticket 600+ airlines so you can still pay later for your flights with Tabby. Tabby lets you spread the cost of your ticket into 4 equal interest-free instalments to be paid back over 3 months. In order to use Tabby, you'll need to be a resident of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait or Egypt and pay in the local currency.

Can I pay for Kulula flights in instalments?
