The airline is a flag carrier of Equatorial Guinea. It is founded in 2007 and based at Malabo International Airport. Safety, comfort and on-time flights are the priorities for the airline.
With the fleet of eight aircraft, 14 destinations within Africa and Spain are served. At the start of their operations, Ceiba Intercontinental was only operating a fleet of ATRs that only enables them to operate domestically.
The airline is not a member of any airline alliance.

Malabo International Airport (SSG) serves Spain, Turkey and multiple destinations within Africa. The airport is also a hub for Fly4Africa. Airlines that fly to the destination include but are not limited to Turkish Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Air France, Ethiopian Airlines and more.
