Tus Airways is a Cypriot scheduled passenger and charter airline that is based at Larnaca International Airport. The airline currently flies to Tel Aviv, Israel and Ioannina, Greece on a scheduled basis but will suspend these flights from 26th October 2019 due to a rebranding. The airline will relaunch as an ultra-low-cost airline under the name Ela Airways in 2020. Until it rebrands, the airline will continue to offer charter flights to select destinations within Europe. Previously, Tus Airways offered scheduled flights to destinations in Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Italy.
The airline was founded in 2015 and flew its first flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv in 2016. Tus Airways was the first airline to launch since the old national carrier of Cyprus, Cyprus Airways, ceased operations in 2015.
Duty-free is provided on board for flights between Cyprus and non-European countries such as Lebanon, Jordan, Ukraine, Israel and Egypt. Larnaca International Airport is registered under Hermes Airports Ltd in Cyprus. Hermes Airports Ltd is an international consortium of 9 shareholders, representing a mix of Cypriot and international partners. They run another airport – Pafos airport. Annually, the two airports together handle over 7 million passengers.

All Tus Airways passengers are permitted one piece of hand baggage with a maximum weight of 8kg. Baggage must fit within the dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm (21.6" x 13.7" x 7.8").
Passengers aren't entitled to a free checked bag, any checked baggage must be purchased before the flight. Passengers can purchase a 20kg bag at a set price and will be charged per kilo for any additional kilos (up to 30 kg).
The maximum weight for baggage booked onto your Tus Airways flight is 20kg. Checked baggage must not exceed 75 cm x 49 cm x 28 cm (29.5" x 19.2" x 11").
Infants are allowed to bring a pushchair or car seat onboard free of charge.
Passengers can check-in online through the Tus Airways online check-in page.
Online Check-in for Tus Airways is available from 24 hours and up to four hours before flight departure. Passengers should print their boarding pass once online check-in is completed. Passengers should arrive at the boarding gate at least 45 minutes before flight departure.
Passengers that can't check-in online or would rather check-in at the airport can do so by presenting the relevant travel documents to a check-in agent at the airport of departure.
*Unaccompanied minors, passengers requiring special assistance and passengers travelling in a group of ten or more are required to check-in at the airport.
Economy Class is the only cabin class that the airline offers. The Economy Class service is carried out by the airlines professionally trained train cabin crew, who are available to attend to whatever you need.
On select flights, food and drink are available to order. Flight attendants will offer each passenger the opportunity to order once the flight is airborne.
The aircraft is set out in a 2 x 3 configuration, with either 80 or 100 seats, depending on what aircraft is flown on. Each seat has between 32—34 inches of pitch.
There's no in-flight entertainment system on Tus Airways flights. However, the airline might have an in-flight magazine for customers to read, subject to availability.
Passengers are able to order a selection of food and drink from the airline's in-flight menu. Snacks, hot and cold drinks and other light refreshments are served on all flights, with hot meals served on longer flights.
WIFI isn't available on any of Tus Airways' flights.
Tus & Plus allows passengers to earn Pluses (points) for each Tus Airways flight flown and spend those Pluses on future flights with Tus Airways.
The number of Pluses earned and required for a flight depends entirely on the route flown and fare ticket type.
Tus Airways fleet consists entirely of planes manufactured by Fokker. Within its fleet, the airline has five narrow body Fokker 70s and two regional jet Fokker 100s.
Tus Airways isn't currently a member of an airline alliance.
Larnaca International Airport is an international airport located in Larnaca, Cyprus and is the hub airport for Tus Airways. The airport has one primary passenger terminal and a single runway. The airport facilitates flights travelling around Europe, Africa, Russia and the Middle East.
Other than Tus Airways, Larnaca International is also a hub for Aegean Airways and Cyprus Airways.
