Buy Tropical Air Zanzibar Flights with Alternative Airlines

Tropical Air is an airline based in Zanzibar, Tanzania. It was founded by Captain Omar Haji, and the airline first began operations in 1999 with just 1 aircraft under its name, a Cessna Grand Caravan. The airline operates out of Abeid Amani Karume International Airport and flies to 7 destinations across Tanzania.

Tropical Air has a goal to become the undisputed leader in domestic routes and air charter services within Tanzania.

Baggage Policy

The baggage allowance on board Tropical Air flights is a maximum of 15kg per person, and the bags are required to be soft due to the small size of the aircraft. Carry-on baggage can weigh no more than 5kg, and any excess baggage that wants to be brought onboard will be charged at a rate of $3 per extra kilo.

Cabin Classes

The only cabin class offered onboard a Tropical Air flight is Economy - this is due to the size of their aircraft. If passengers want more space, they can use their charter service.
