Tropic Air Kenya allows you to take 18kg of baggage per person and not exceed 127 linear centimetres (length + width + height). Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate.

Cabin Classes

The airline mostly operates small flights and there is only one cabin class that is provided on the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. The airline gives you amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage and the option of choosing your seat.


Seats are positioned in a 1 x 2 formation depending on the aircraft, ensuring that you will sit by either a window, aisle or both.


Tropic Air Kenya passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check-in.

Online check-in before your flight isn't required when travelling with the airline. 

Airport Check-in

You are recommended to arrive at the terminal of the airport and hand in your boarding pass so the airline will be able to take care of your luggage. It would take a few minutes for you to get checked in. The airline advises arriving 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. The airline crew from their will be ready to help in the check-in and boarding process.
