Two years later a similar agreement was reached with EVA Air from Taiwan. In 2010 a codeshare agreement was made between Copa Airlines and TAME.

With the launch of these latest two routes, it now means that tame operates to three international destinations from Guayaquil, with Lima in Peru and JFK joining the carrier’s current Fort Lauderdale services.
