About

Sky Mali is a scheduled passenger and charter airline from Mali. The airline is based at Modibo Keita International Airport, Bakamo and flies to several destinations within Mali. Overall, its route network consists of more than five destinations within Mali.

The airline launched in 2020 and gained its licence for air operations in July 2020, which gave it the authority to fly within Mali and to other parts of Africa. It first flight from Bakamo to Kayes took place in September of the same year. The airline is initially flying to several regional capitals within Mali but plans to extend its flight offering to other capital cities within the west and central Africa in the future.

Sky Mali is currently owned by a private firm in the United Arab Emirates, however, due to it being one of the only scheduled airlines within the country, if successful, it could receive Government financial investment and become the national carrier. This would make it the first national carrier for the country in over 10 years.
