How to know a startup airline is legit?

There are fake airline companies out there, designed to steal people's financial information.

The best way to check whether an airline is legitimate is to verify that it holds an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This ensures an airline can legally fly.

Another thing you can do is check online reviews. However, with new airlines just starting out, this can be difficult.

When you book new airlines through an established travel booking site, like Alternative Airlines, you know that your flights are legitimate and your finances are secure.
