About Nationwide Airlines
Founded in 1995, Nationwide Airlines was a South African airline that operated scheduled domestic and international services across the rest of Africa and to parts of Europe. Nationwide Airlines originally operated a charter airline but by the end of 1995, began scheduled flights across South Africa.

Nationwide Airlines had plans to launch international services to Munich, Beijing and Shanghai, however, these plans never came to fruition.
In 2008, the airline ceased all operations after financial difficulties in the years prior.
