About FlyLAL Lithuanian Airlines:

flyLAL, also known as flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines, LAL or Lithuanian Airlines, was a Lithuanian airline based at Vilnius International Airport. It was founded in 1991 as Lithuanian Airlines but was renamed to FlyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines in 2005 when it was acquired by LAL. FlyLAL Lithuanian Airlines was founded after the restoration of Lithuania's independence. It played a crucial role in connecting Lithuania with various European destinations. In 2008, however, it unfortunately suffered financial problems and ceased operations in 2009.
