Buy JetSMART Argentina Flights with Alternative Airlines

Founded in 2016 and launched in 2019, JetSMART Argentina is low-cost Argentinan airline offering domestic flights within Argentina. The airline is owned by low-cost carrier specialist Indigo Partners and is the company's second South American low-cost carrier, with its first being JetSMART. JetSMART Argentina flies to over 12 destinations within Argentina, with its hub airport at Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio L.V. Taravella International Airport, Cordoba.

The airline was originally founded under the name Alas del Sur, but was rebranded and renamed as JetSMART Argentina in 2018, as its owners felt as if the airline could benefit from the brand recognition from its Chilean sister airline, JetSMART. In November of 2018, Argentinian authorities approved JetsMART Argentina's application to fly routes across Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia. Although, the airline has no immediate plans to launch international routes.

JetSMART Argentina received its first aircraft — an Airbus A320-200 — in December of 2018 and shortly thereafter, secured its Air Operator's Certificate, which gave the final permissions it needed to begin operating services. JetSMART Argentina launched flights in early 2019.
