About DART Ukranian Airlines

DART Ukrainian Airlines, also known as Dart Air, was a rapidly growing Ukrainian airline, which was founded in 1997. The airline was headquartered in Kiev and based at Kiev International Airport. DART Ukrainian Airlines flew to many destinations including Tbilisi, Athens, Kiev, Odessa and Tivat. During its period of operation, the company kept a secure position in the market of charter and tourist travels in Ukraine, constantly taking care of the comfort and safety of flights, renewing fleet and improving its staff qualifications regularly.

In 2013 DART Ukrainian Airlines successfully passed EC-type examination OPS 1 and received an Air Operator Certificate № UK 020. DART Airlines received an operating permit for cargo-carrying operations in 2014. DART Airlines' core activities of DART were group charters utilizing medium-range aircraft and custom-fitted flights on business-jets.


DART Ukranian Airlines Fleet

DART Ukranian Airlines fleet included A320-200, B737-300, Bombardier Learjet 60 and McDonnell Douglas MD-83. The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine (SAAU) announced the suspension of local carrier DART Airlines' Air Operator's Certificate (AOC). The European Aviation Safety Agency has also temporarily suspended Dart Ukrainian Airlines' right to operate flights to European Union countries. Founded in 1995, DART Ukrainian Airlines specialised in passenger charter and scheduled flights using a fleet of one A320-200, one B737-300, one B737-500, and one A319-100 (leased from Olympus Airways (OLY, Athens Int'l).

Dart Airline Launches Regular Flights on Kyive - Bologna Route

Dart airline from June launched regular flights on the Kyiv-Bologna (Italy) route from Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport.
According to a press release from the airport, flights will be carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays on board modern Airbus A320/319 aircraft.

Departure from Kyiv will be at 09:50, departure from Bologna at 12:35. Air tickets can be bought on the official website of the airline and the agencies selling tickets.
Dart airline has been operating as a charter air carrier since 1997. It operates Bombardier Lear Jet 60, Airbus 320 and Boeing 737-300/500 aircraft.

DART Airlines announced it was resuming Tbilis-Kiev flights for the summer season

After three months of suspending operations, DART Ukrainian Airlines is bringing back air service between Kiev and Tbilisi and will expand its flight frequencies along the route. The two capital cities will once again be directly linked from April 27 to August 27, 2017. DART Ukrainian Airlines will perform flights three times a week – on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

The airline company got permission from Georgia's Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA) to resume flights for this summer season on April 24 and DART Ukrainian Airlines performed first flight on April 27. To note, DART Ukrainian Airlines entered the Georgian market in 2016 with two flights a week. During 2016-2017 winter navigation season the airline company performed eight flights, announced the GCAA.
