Yute Commuter Service is a US airline that flies scheduled passenger flights. It's an Alaskan airline that focusses on serving the people of the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta. The airline is based at Bethel Airport (BET) and flies to more than 20 destinations across the state of Alaska.

The airline launched in 2017 with the goal to fly underserved routes around the YK Delta, flying from Bethel to other destinations in the area. Yute Commuter Service is one of the only airlines operating flights in this area today.

As well as passenger flights, the airline also flies some cargo/freight services. Along with Grant Aviation and Ryan Air, Yute Commuter Service is among the top choices for flights in and around the YK Delta.

Baggage Policy

Due to the small planes that it flies with, Yute Commuter Service cannot accept large baggage on its flights. Therefore, passengers are entitled to bring one small piece of carry-on baggage with them on the flight.

Cabin Classes

Yute Commuter Service flies small planes that include an Economy Class cabin only. The cabin is small but the airline has a friendly crew and pilot who are dedicated to ensuring a safe journey are available to assist with boarding and disembarkation.

Due to its small aircraft and short flight times, the airline doesn't offer any additional services such as in-flight meals, in-flight entertainment or WIFI.

There's no in-flight entertainment or WIFI on any of Yute's flights. The airline doesn't have an in-flight magazine either.

Flight times are short, so in-flight entertainment might not be necessary. However, passengers are welcome to bring a book or use their own electronic device for entertainment throughout the flight.

Hub Airport

Bethel Airport

Bethel Airport (BET) is a public-use airport that is situated in Bethel, Alaska and the hub airport for Yute Commuter Service. The airline has used Bethel as its home base to operate passenger and cargo flights from since it launched in 2017. The airport is small but has three runways.

Other than Yute, Grant Aviation, Ryan Air and Alaska Airlines all use the airport. Ravn Alaska also flew many flights from Bethel Airport before it ceased operations.

Schedule

Yute Commuter Service flies the majority of its routes daily Monday–Saturday, twice daily.

On flights to Kongiganak, Kwigillingok and Tuntutuliak, flights depart Monday–Sunday, once a day.

On flights to Pilot Station, Marshall and Russian Mission, flights depart Monday–Friday, once a day.
