Decades later, the airline is now flying to more than 100 destinations in North America, Central America, The Caribbean and Europe with three aircraft types. It's the second-largest carrier in Canada, carrying over 66,000 people per day.

WestJet has three hubs in Canada including Calgary International Airport, Vancouver International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport.

WestJet has two subsidiary airlines including WestJet Encore and Swoop. WestJet Encore is a regional carrier operating smaller regional or domestic destinations for WestJet. They operate slightly smaller and more efficient aircraft for their network. The aircraft that the airline deploys are Bombardier Q400s.
