Pyongyang Sunan International Airport
Pyongyang International Airport (IATA code: FNJ) is the main airport serving Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. The airport is also known as Pyongyang Sunan International Airport.
The construction of a new modern terminal was announced in 2012, including a new control terminal.
As of October 2019, the only two airlines serving the airport are Air China and Air Koryo. The airport serves as a hub for Air Koryo.

The airport is located in the city's Sunan District, ABOUT 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Pyongyang - about a 20-minute drive.

Terminals
The airport has two passenger terminals. Terminal 1, which opened in 2016, handles domestic flights. Terminal 2 was completed in 2015 and serves routes to China. A corridor of various shops connects the two terminal buildings.
Terminal 2 is modern and spacious, with a glass front. Inside, the arrival hall is on the first floor, the departure hall is on the second floor, and shops and restaurants mostly on the third floor.

The airport has one runway currently in use, which is designated 01/19 and measures 3,800 by 60 metres (12,470 ft × 200 ft).
