Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond Seaplanes operate directly from Loch Lomond. The Loch is one of Scotland's most iconic and picturesque freshwater lakes, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural significance. Located in the southern part of the Scottish Highlands, it's the largest inland stretch of water by surface area in Great Britain.

The loch boasts more than 30 islands, each with its own charm and history. Inchmurrin is the largest island, and Inchcailloch is a popular destination for its nature trails and picnic spots.

Fleet

The skilled pilots of Loch Lomond Seaplanes operate advanced and contemporary amphibious aircraft, the Cessna 208 Caravan, renowned as one of today's most dependable short-haul regional airliners. Loch Lomond has been utilising the Cessna Caravan since 2007, amassing more than 7,000 flying hours and conducting over 10,000 flights along the breathtaking West Coast of Scotland.

Flying Whilst Pregnant

Due to the very low altitudes that Loch Lomond Seaplanes fly at, generally speaking, pregnant women are more than ok to partake in a Loch Lomond Seaplane tour. The majority of regulations for pregnant women are in place due to the cost of disruptions if anything were to happen whilst onboard the mainstream aircraft. When flying with Loch Lomond, the design means that they're able to disembark people within 10 minutes of an issue arising - making it a safe way to fly.
