Columbus Airport (IATA code: CSG), serves Columbus, the third largest city in Georgia. Columbus Airport is a small airport and is owned and operated by the Columbus Airport Commission and was formally known as Columbus Metropolitan Airport.

The airport originally opened as a facility to provide a airmail service the Columbus area. A modern two-story terminal was completed in 1991 to enable commercial operations.

Today, one carrier, Delta Connection/ ExpressJet, provides commercial routes to the city.

The airport has two asphalt runways: 6/24 is 6,997 by 150 feet (2,133 x 46 m) and 13/31 is 3,997 by 150 feet (1,218 x 46 m).

The airport has a passenger terminal complex which consists of two buildings. The airport has seven airline gates.

Where do I check-in?

Passengers should check-in at the terminal ticket counters. There are also two self-service kiosks. A boarding pass or an e-ticket receipt is required to pass through security screening.

Airlines that fly to Columbus

Delta flies from Columbus to Atlanta, where it has its largest Hub.

How to get to Columbus Airport

By Car

Columbus Airport offers two on-site parking options. The short-term parking is located adjacent to the terminal and enables passenger pick-ups, departures and arrivals centralized in one located conveniently located near to the airport. The long-term parking offers easy accessibility for travelers, there's no need to catch a shuttle service to access the terminal building.

By Car Rental

Columbus Airport has on-site car rental companies, with counters located on the ground level across from the Baggage Claim. Rental car return is located on the west side of the terminal.

By Bus

The Metra city bus route is located across from the Northwest corner of the Airport on Airport Thruway with the pickup outside Wal-Mart.

By Taxi

Taxi services are available 24 hours at the east end of the terminal past baggage claim area.
