How to cancel British Airways flights at Alternative Airlines

If you have booked British Airways flights at Alternative Airlines but want to cancel, you can make a cancellation request through the Manage My Booking portal or reach out to our Customer Service team who will be able to assist you.

1. Self-service flight cancellation via 'Manage my booking'

You can sign in to Manage My Booking with your booking reference number. Once you're signed in, it's super easy to cancel your British Airways flights. We'll show you the total refund that you're entitled to based on the fare rules of the airline before you decide to cancel.

If Cancel For Any Reason was added during the booking process, you can activate it in the Manage My Booking portal and get a partial refund (70% of the total booking cost) in 30 days, no matter your reason for cancelling. This will be available until 48 hours before departure.
If Cancellation Protection was added during the booking process, you can claim a full refund should you need to cancel your British Airways flights due to emergency reasons.

Please be aware that many flight tickets are non-refundable as per the airline's terms and conditions.

With British Airways flights booked through us at Alternative Airlines, you can still cancel within the airline's 24-hour cancellation window and get a refund, but you must contact us during our operating hours.

Please contact us between 9am - 8pm UK time (GMT) if you want to cancel your British Airways flights within the 24-hour cancellation window and receive your refund.

We may not receive your refund request in time if you contact us outside of our operating hours. In this case, we won't be able to honour British Airways' 24-hour cancellation policy as British Airways may not issue your refund to us.
