Today, Salem fully embraces its scary legacy with a wide range of haunted happenings, from candlelit ghost tours through centuries-old cemeteries to theatrical reenactments of the trials. Every October, the town transforms into a Halloween hub, hosting its month-long “Haunted Happenings” festival with parades, markets, costume balls, and family-friendly events.

It's the perfect place if you love spooky settings.

During October, Sleepy Hollow embraces its creepy reputation with haunted hayrides, lantern-lit cemetery tours, and dramatic retellings of the classic legend.
