Alii Palau Airlines is a new regional airline based at Roman Tmetuchl International Airport in Palau. The airline initiated its first flights to Singapore in November 2023 with a chartered A320 operated by Drukair. The service, initially once a week and increasing to twice weekly from December, offers the sole direct link between Koror and Singapore.

Alii Palau Airlines is still waiting for its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) but will continue to use Drukair's capacity to carry out its flights. Future plans involve exploring network expansion to Japan, South Korea, Yap and Pohnpei.

Destinations

Alii Palau Airlines currently only operates one route between Koror and Singapore. It carries out this route once a week with a chartered A320 owned by Drukair.

The airline plans to eventually explore a network expansion to Japan, South Korea, Yap and Pohnpei.

Passengers flying in Economy and Business class will be permitted to bring 1 piece of cabin baggage.

Checked Baggage

Economy Class passengers can bring 1 piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 20kg.

Business Class passengers can bring 1 piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 30kg.

On Alii Palau Airlines' route between Palau and Singapore, there will be two cabin classes available - Economy and Business (based on Drukair's chartered A320).

Since Alii Palau Airlines uses an Airbus A320, it is unlikely that in-flight entertainment will be provided. We recommend bringing your own forms of entertainment on board with you such as a book to read or your favourite TV shows/movies downloaded onto your personal devices.

Alii Palau Airlines only operates one route between Singapore and Palau with a flight duration of 5-6 hours - this means that a hot-meal service may not be provided onboard, but you'll still be able to purchase snacks and beverages from the airline's in-flight menu, or even be offered a complimentary snack/beverage during your flight.

Alii Palau Airlines celebrates first flight

In a historical moment, Alii Palau Airlines has marked its inaugural flight at Singapore Changi Airport on Thursday, November 23, 2023, welcoming guests from Palau including Palau's Vice President, Jerrlyn Uduch Sengebau Senior.

Palau, renowned for its commitment to environmental protection, stands as the first nation on Earth to modify immigration laws for the cause of ecological preservation. The implementation of the Palau Pledge in 2017 requires visitors to commit to acting responsibly towards the island's ecology and culture upon entry.

As a local Palauan company, Alii Palau Airlines takes pride in connecting Palau to the rest of the world via Singapore Changi Airport. The flight between Singapore and Palau currently operates once a week on Thursday. From 21st December 2023, Alii Palau Airlines will fly twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.
