Yes. Although Alternative Airlines enables you to pay for your car rental in multiple ways, including buy now, pay later, you'll still need a credit card to put down a deposit on your car rental. This protects addCar in case you incur additional fees, such as a cleaning charge.
Does addCar only offer car rentals in the USA?
No. addCar supplies car rentals in over 40 countries, including the USA.
Currently, Alternative Airlines only offers car rentals within the USA. So when booking through our site, you'll only be able to collect and return your car rental at US locations.
Can I book an addCar airport pick-up?
Yes! All of addCar's US pick-up points are at airports in Florida.
Collect and return your car rental from either:
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
- Miami International Airport
- Tampa International Airport
- Orlando International Airport
Can I rent a car with addCar and pay later?
What age do I need to be to rent a car with addCar?
To rent a vehicle with addCar in the USA, you must be at least 21 years of age and no older than 75.
Young driver fees apply to drivers under 25, with a daily surcharge of USD 10 (USD 19.99 for Florida residents).
Senior driver fees apply to drivers aged 70-75 at USD 10 per day.
How do I rent a car with Alternative Airlines?
Booking a car rental with Alternative Airlines is quick and easy. Just scroll to the top of the page to find our car rental search bar.
Enter your pick-up and drop-off locations, dates, number of seats, etc., then click Search.
Filter the results by supplier, manual or automatic, vehicle size and more.
Once you've found your ideal car rental, head to checkout. You'll have the option to pay up front with a debit or credit card or in instalments with a buy now, pay later partner.
You'll receive instant confirmation of your car rental by email.
