Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Flights

When you book through Alternative Airlines you can cancel your flight for any reason if you purchased a refundable flight. A refundable flight ticket is a ticket that can be refunded to you, to your card, or to whichever payment option you selected at checkout to pay for your flights. By booking through Alternative Airlines you can purchase completely refundable flights and cancel for any reason for a small additional fee.

Please note that not all flights available at Alternative Airlines are refundable. If you purchased a non-refundable flight ticket, you'll be unable to cancel your flight ticket for any reason.

Search for flights

Navigate to the search form at the top of the page and enter the departure and arrival destinations along with the dates you plan to travel, the number of passengers and the cabin class. Hit 'Search Flights'.

Select your preferred airline

Once that page has loaded, you'll be able to narrow down your preferences. You can use the 'Airlines' tab to choose the airline you wish to fly with e.g. Delta Air Lines. Other filters include departure/arrival times, connections, airports and more. Once you've chosen the flight you wish to take 'Confirm Selection'.

Confirm your booking

You'll then be taken onto the passenger details page, where you'll be able to see if your flight is eligible for any changes. By booking a fully refundable flight ticket you will be able to cancel your flight ticket for any reason.

For an extra layer of protection and to receive a full refund without having to pay a Cancellation Fee, you can purchase our Cancellation Protection at checkout when you make a reservation with Alternative Airlines. With Cancellation Protection, you can cancel your flight ticket if you can no longer make your flight due to any unforeseen circumstance such as mechanical breakdown, injury, theft of documents, and adverse weather.

Cancellation Protection is available to purchase at the time of booking for any flight we offer at Alternative Airlines. We recommend that you add Cancellation Protection to your booking in order to protect your money. Cancellation Protection lets you cancel your flight ticket due to any uncertain circumstance.
