How do I buy a plane ticket as a gift?
STEP 1
On the Alternative Airlines search form, enter the destinations/airports and the dates that you want to buy as a gift. Click 'search flights'.
STEP 2
Take a look at all available flights from airlines that fly between your chosen destinations on your chosen date. Select the flight that you want to buy as a gift and click 'confirm selection'.
STEP 3
Enter the details of the person you're buying the flight as a gift for in the passenger details. Then, enter your details in the contact information. Only the passenger details will appear on the travel documents.
STEP 4
Select your preferred payment method. You can buy flights as a gift with any of the payment methods available with Alternative Airlines.
STEP 5
Confirm the payment method you've selected is correct by clicking 'secure payment'.
STEP 6
Enter your payment details and click 'Pay XXX' to confirm the booking. You'll now be redirected to the booking confirmation page — it's that easy to buy flights as a gift!
