The capital of the 'Asir Province in Saudi Arabia is Abha, which primary airport is the Abha International Airport, one of the busiest airports within Saudi Arabia. The airport serves both domestic and international flights. It offers domestic connections to several airports within Saudi Arabia and international flights to destinations like Cairo, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Aden, and more. The airport is currently undergoing a significant expansion project. This includes the construction of a new terminal with a much larger capacity, as it currently only has one terminal. The new terminal is expected to open in 2028. From this, the airport will expand its capacity to serve over 13 million passengers each year, a significant increase from the current capacity of 1.5 million.

From Abha International Airport, it will take you roughly 20 minutes to reach Abha city centre, depending on traffic conditions. It is located South of the city centre and has an airport code of AHB.

Abha International Airport is not a primary airport for any airlines, however Flynas flies to multiple destinations from here.
