Delta Sky Club

Delta Sky Club lounge located in JFK Airport was recognised as 2021's Best Airport Lounge overall. The lounge is complete with free Wi-Fi, a wealth of power outlets located across the whole lounge, a fresh selection of food as well as a range of premium drinks and spirits at the lounges bar.

American Airlines Flagship Lounge

Once again, positioned in John F Kennedy Airport, is American Airlines' Flagship Lounge. Guests who frequent this lounge will have access to a bright and airy restaurant, the lounge also provides access to a champagne and wine bar which guests can help themselves to. If you're wanting a freshen-up before your flight, the Flagship Lounge has 8 shower rooms to choose from.

Emirates First Class Lounge

The Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai is among some of the best to exist! Within the lounge, guests have access to duty-free shops, light buffets at a variety of gates, and a sommelier on hand. The lounge also provides its guests with 2 sleeping rooms so they can catch up on their sleep before their flight. Its innovative and luxury features include a cigar bar and spa.

Singapore Airlines' 'The Private Room'

This airport lounge is located in Singapore's Changi Airport. Whilst all of Singapore Airlines' airport lounges are luxurious and loved by many, The Private Room stands above the rest. The lounge is specifically for first class and suite passengers and provides guests with private work and shower rooms, a generally quieter area to relax in and a sit-down dining area.

How to Add an Airport Lounge to your Booking

Follow our step-by-step guide below to find out how to add an Airport Lounge to your booking through Alternative Airlines.

  1. Using the search form, at the top of the page, enter the departure and arrival destinations as well as the dates you wish to travel, the number of passengers, and the cabin class you want to fly in. Then hit the 'Search Flights' button.
  2. You'll then be shown all the available flights according to the information you entered in the search box. If you wish to fly with a specific airline you can use the 'Airlines' drop-down tab to filter down your search.
  3. Once you've found the perfect flight for you 'Confirm Selection' and proceed to the next page.
  4. Then enter your passenger and contact details on this page. All available airport lounges will be here to view, you can then add an airport lounge to your booking and it will be added to your total cost.

What is an airport lounge?

An airport lounge is a separate area of the airport which provides extra services to the rest of the airport. These lounges are for a select number of people who decide to either pay extra for the comfort, use airline points to gain access or simply just become part of a membership scheme. They offer perks such as shower rooms, sit-down dining and free Wi-Fi and sockets.

How do I get into an airport lounge?

Accessing an airport lounge is very simple!

Passes and memberships can be purchased before your arrival at the airport, these will then give you access to the airport lounges and all their facilities. Loyalty points may also be used to access certain airport lounges.

How long can I stay in an airport lounge?

Most airport lounges allow passengers to stay between 2-3 hours, however, some will extend this time frame to up to 5 hours.
