These are Melbourne International Airport (MEL) and Avalon Airport (AVV), near Geelong. There is about 41 miles between the two airports, and they both serve the greater Melbourne area. Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Tigerair are the largest domestic carriers which operate scheduled services to Melbourne International Airport from Australia's other major cities.
