The 2020 UEFA Euro Championship is 16th UEFA Euro Championships, which is a men's football tournament that is contested once every four years. The 2020 UEFA Euros will consist of 24 European teams that will compete in a group stage/knockout formatted tournament. The winner will be crowned the new UEFA Euro Champions, taking the title from the defending champions Portugal, unless Portugal retain.
