Buy Taban Air with Alternative Airlines

Taban Air is an Iranian airline that offers both scheduled and charter passenger flights. The airline is based at Mashad International Airport and mainly offers domestic flights within Iran, as well as to other destinations in West and Central Asia. Overall, the airline flies to over 20 destinations.

The airline launched in 2006 when it flew its first service with internal flights within Iran. In the years following, the airline launched international flights to other destinations within Asia including Armenia, Georgia, Iraq and the UAE.

Unfortunately, Alternative Airlines is not able to ticket Taban Air. Please see below for airlines that fly similar routes.

Please be aware: we don’t accept payments through Stripe or Klarna on flights departing from and/or arriving at destinations within Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria or the Crimea Region.

Baggage Policy

Taban Air has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are entitled to one item of carry-on baggage that must not exceed 45 linear inches (114 cm). Carry-on baggage should be able to fit in the plane overhead locker or under the seat.

Checked Baggage

Checked baggage allowance will depend on the route flown. Passengers can view their checked baggage allowance and the time of booking. It will also be displayed on their e-ticket, which is sent after booking.

Cabin Classes

Economy

Economy Class is the only cabin that this airline offers. The clean cabin and friendly crew make for a comfortable and relaxed journey.

Seats

Seats are set out in a 3 x 3 or 2 x 3 formation on short-haul flights. On long-haul flights, seats are set in a 2 x 3 x 2 formation.

Check-In

Taban Air passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.

Online Check-in

Taban Air doesn't have an online check-in service at this time.

Airport Check-in

Passengers must check-in at the airport for their Taban Air flight. Airport check-in can be completed by visiting the check-in agent at the airport of departure. The airline doesn't specify check-in times, but we recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before departure time for domestic flights and two hours before departure time for international flights.

Food & Drink

The airline offers what it calls a 'five-star catering service' on board. Depending on the length of the flight, passengers will be served snacks, drinks and/or a hot meal. Meals are typically served on longer flights, with light snacks and refreshments served on shorter flights.

In-Flight Entertainment

There is no WIFI or in-flight entertainment on Taban Air flights. However, passengers are given a selection of newspapers and magazines to read during the flight.
