Check-In and arrival
How to check - in
Online:
You can check-in for your flight 24 hours before your flight scheduled departure time via online check-in. All passengers are encouraged to check in online as its quick, easy and reduces stress when arriving at the airport.
Airport:
All Riyadh Air customers can visit the self service kiosk or go to the check-in counters and be greeted by someone of the Riyadh Air team. If you are travelling with luggage that needs to be checked in, it must be done at least 45 minutes before departure.
Arrival time:
It is encouraged to arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight. Allow yourself time to get through security, browse through duty free and reach your boarding gate on time. Otherwise, passengers are still advised to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours before departure.
Riyadh Air Domestic Flight Baggage
Carry-on:
Each customer is allowed one personal item and one piece of carry-on onboard. The personal items can be a handbag, laptop bag or small backpack and must not exceed 5kg. The maximum size for a carry on bag is 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm. The weight allowance of your carry on depends on your travel class. For further support visit Riyadh Air baggage allowance policy.
Both personal item and carry on must fit in either the overhead lockers or below the seat in front of you. If your luggage does exceed the size and weight limits they will not be checked in and you may be given an additional charges.
Checked baggage:
Each customer is given the option to have a checked bag which is stowed underneath the plane. For domestic flights the size and weight allowance depends on your travel class.
The total weight of your checked luggage must not exceed your total allowance and be up to 158 cm in total size ( length + width + height). If your bag dimensions go beyond this, but remain under 300 cm an additional oversized baggage fee will be applied and must be paid at the check in counter.
Any luggage exceeding 300 cm will not be accepted as checkin items and you will be asked to make alternative arrangements for these items.
