About Omaha Eppley Airfield

Omaha Eppley Airfield, often simply called Eppley Airfield (IATA: OMA) is an international airport near Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is currently the largest airport in Nebraska, and handles about 130 daily flights to 34 destinations on 8 airlines. 2018 was the busiest year for the airport in terms of passenger numbers, with 5,043,194 total passengers served over 101,510 aircraft operations.

Eppley Airfield was first developed in 1925, as an extension of Levi Carter Park. In 1957, the airport was renamed to Eugene C. Eppley after the famous Hotelier. The terminal building was opened in 1961, with Concourse B opening in 1970 and remodelled in 1986 after a second concourse, A, was opened.
