Policies differ by location. ALWAYS check your rental agreement before purchasing your car rental agreement. The policies below apply to the USA in general and may differ by location.
What is Autounion's Age policy?
The minimum age to rent a vehicle with Autounion USA is 21 years old
The maximum age you can rent a vehicle with Autounion is 80 years old
Under 25?
Any renter or additional driver between the ages of 21-24 years old will be charged an additional fee per rental day.
Over 74?
Any renter and/or additional driver that are between the ages of 75-80 years olf will be required to pay an additional fee per rental day.
Please check your location's rental agreement before purchase for any applicable charges and young driver restrictions.
Can I add additional driver's with Autounion?
Yes, you can add additional driver's to your Autounion Car Rental.
Your first additional driver is free of charge.
You will be required to pay a fee for the second additional driver added. This charge is applied per day per driver.
Minimum age restrictions and eligibility criteria apply for each additional driver.
Requirements can vary by location. Please review your rental agreement and the pickup location’s local terms for full details.
What is Autounion's fuel policy?
Autounion's fuel policy is Full to Full.
A Full to Full fuel policy means you will pick up your vehicle with a full tank and be required to return it full as well. It is a cost-effective option where you only pay for the fuel you actually use.
You MUST refill your rental locally before returning your vehicle to avoid returning it below the full mark. Keep your fuel receipt from a local garage if Autounion ask to see proof of refuelling.
If you don't return your rental car with a full tank of fuel, you will be charged an additional missing fuel fee and potentially an admin fee.
Autounion's geographic & mileage policy
Mileage policy:
Mileage Policy:Autounion offers an unlimited miles policy unless you are a holder of a Florida driver's license.
Flordia Driver's License holders - Mileage is limited to 50 miles per day, with each additional mile being charged and additional fee per mile.
Geographic policy:
- Renters are not permitted outside of Florida state
- One-way rentals are not allowed from/to Tampa

What documents do I need when pick up my Autounion rental car in the U.S.?
When you pick up your Autounion rental, you will need to bring the following:

- A valid credit card in the renter's name
- A secondary form of identification, such as a passport of national ID card
- An International Driver's Permit will be required for people with a driver's license that is not in the Roman alphabet and credit card format.

What do I need to do if I am late collecting my Autounion Car Rental
Autounion has a grace period of up to 1 hour after your agreed collection time. You must contact your Autounion branch if you plan to arrive before or after the time on your rental agreement.
Late fees may apply if you return your vehicle past your agreed-upon return time. Please check your specific rental details for more information.
What credit cards does Autounion accept?
Autounion Car Rental accepts both Visa and Mastercard.
What is Autounion's local renter policy?
Autounion defines a local renter as someone who is a resident of the USA or Canada. Local renters must:
- Provide proof of own insurance ( e.g. insurance declaration page of an Insurance policy that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date)
- Proof that your personal insurance has Property Damage Liability (PDL) coverage with a limit of at least 500,000 USD.
- Proof of personal insurance is only accepted from the following providers - State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Progressive, Infinity, USAA, Nationwide, Farmers, Allstate.
- To purchase protection from Autounion should you be unable to provide proof of insurance from one of the companies listed.

Are Autounion U.S. locations on or off airport?
Autounions U.S. locations are generally located off airport, meaning you will need to catch a short shuttle service to get to the Autounion pick-up location.
