These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the $500 AUD Voucher Giveaway (“Giveaway”) promoted on Instagram by Afterpay Australia (@afterpayau) in collaboration with Alternative Airlines (@alternative.airlines) on Tuesday 1st December 2026.
By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to comply with these T&Cs.
1. Promoter
1.1 The promoter is Alternative Airlines (“Promoter”), whose registered address is Suite 6F, Gatwick House, Peeks Brook Lane, Horley, Surrey, RH6 9ST, United Kingdom. The Promoter is solely responsible for the fulfilment of this Giveaway and all liabilities therein.
1.2 Afterpay Australia is hosting the Giveaway post on its Instagram account, and is not responsible for the administration of the Giveaway or the fulfilment of the prize.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Giveaway is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
2.2 Participants must have a valid passport at the time of entering the Giveaway in order to be eligible.
2.3 Employees, representatives, or agents of Alternative Airlines or Afterpay, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.
3. Prize
3.1 The prize for the Giveaway is one (1) free flight voucher.
3.2 The value of the free flight voucher is up to $500 AUD.
3.3 The flight voucher is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
3.4 Alternative Airlines reserves the right to cancel a flight booking or prevent the issuance of any ticket if fraudulent activity is suspected, without prior warning.
4. Entry Rules
4.1 The Giveaway will run from 1st December until the 7th December 11:59pm AEDT (“Giveaway Period”).
4.2 To be eligible, participants must comply with all entry requirements specified in the Giveaway post.
5. Winner Selection
5.1 One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
5.2 The winner will be notified by direct message with instructions to claim the prize.
5.3 The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is not available, or has not claimed their prize within seven (7) days of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold the prize.
6. Redeeming the Prize
6.1 The discount code can only be used once.
6.2 The voucher is only valid when booking in Australian Dollars (AUD).
6.3 The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.4 The discount code will be valid for one year from the promotion start date, expiring on the 30th November 2027 11:59pm AEDT.
6.5 The discount code can be redeemed when booking flight(s) available at www.alternativeairlines.com.
6.6 The voucher must be used in a single booking. If the booking value is less than the full voucher value, any remaining balance will be forfeited and will not be credited back, refunded, or carried over to a future booking.
7. Currency
7.1 The discount amount will be in Australian Dollars (AUD).
9. Booking Changes and Cancellations
9.1 All flight changes and cancellations are subject to the airline’s policies and Alternative Airlines’ standard terms and conditions. For more information, please refer to the Alternative Airlines website.
9.2 The voucher is non-refundable.
10. Data Protection and Publicity
10.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Alternative Airlines privacy policy.
