Founded in 2000, ALROSA — full name Air Company ALROSA — is a Russian airline that offers domestic scheduled passengers and charter flights from its hub airports at Mirny Airport (MJZ) and Polyarny Airport (PYJ). The airline was founded by the Russian mining business of the same name. The airline flies throughout Russia, with a strong focus on Lensk Airport (ULK). ALROSA also offer one international service to Simferopol International Airport (SIP), Ukraine.
Initially, the company was named Alrosa Mirny Air Enterprise, however, after rebranding a number of years later, the airline shortened its name to ALROSA.
ALROSA Airlines' fleet is comprised of a mix of Boeing, Tupolev, Irkut and Ilyushin aircraft. The airline has around 10 aircraft currently within its fleet, with more on order.

Passengers flying on ALROSA Airlines in Standard and Special Economy Class are entitled to one item of free checked baggage with a maximum weight of 23kg.
Passengers can use ALROSA Airlines' online check-in by visiting the ALROSA web check-in page. From there, click the online registration button and enter the relevant flight details. Online check-in is available from 24—3 hours before flight departure time.
Passengers can check-in at the airport by visiting the ALROSA Airlines check-in counters and presenting the relevant travel documents to the ALROSA check-in agents. Check-in opens 2 hours before flight departure time and closes 40 minutes before. ALROSA Airlines close boarding 25 minutes before flight departure time.
