About Air Costa
Air Costa was a regional airline operating in India and headquartered in Vijayawada. It began flying operations in 2013, and unfortunately ceased flying in 2017. The airline was based at Chennai International Airport, and was owned by LEPL Group, an Indian business company.
The airline began its flying operations in October 2013 with its fleet of two Embraer E-170 aircraft. It’s first flight was from its hub at Chennai.

As an airfield, it was first used as an army base in WWII, until it was converted to an airport for civilian use.
