Adding a skateboard to your booking is currently unavailable at Alternative Airlines. However, we are working extremely hard for you to be able to add a skateboard to your booking.

Airlines That Allow Skateboards as Carry-on

Listed below are some of the airlines that allow you to bring a skateboard as carry-on baggage on board.

Southwest Airlines

When flying with Southwest Airlines you'll be able to take your skateboard on board as normal carry-on baggage. However, Southwest does advise that you remove the wheels on the skateboard or store the skateboard wheels up so the skateboard doesn't roll across the aircraft and disrupt the flight.

United Airlines

United Airlines is another US airline that lets you bring your skateboard with you on board. United Airlines allows you to bring your skateboard as normal carry-on baggage or checked baggage. However, if you do exceed the airline's baggage policy size dimensions and weight limitations you'll be subject to extra fees.

Skateboards are allowed on Lufthansa flights as long as it doesn't exceed 8kg / 17lbs in weight and 55cm x 40cm x 23cm in size. If you decide to bring your skateboard on Lufthansa flights please note that this will be the only carry-on you'll be allowed to bring with you on board.

Turkish Airlines

You'll be allowed to bring a skateboard with you on Turkish Airlines flights as long as it doesn't exceed 8kg. Your skateboard counts as a carry-on bag, meaning that you won't be allowed to bring any other bags with you on the flight.
