Buy SAS Link with Alternative Airlines
In 2021 SAS Group announced that they were to launch 2 new airlines in early 2022. These will be SAS Connect and SAS Link, both airlines will operate as low-cost airlines. It is planned that SAS Link will operate a fleet of Embraer 195 aircraft. SAS Link is expected to primarily serve the northern European area from their hub airport, Copenhagen Kastrup. SAS Group announced that both new airlines will be wholly-owned subsidiaries, each with its own AOC (Air Operators Certificate). However, the airlines will use SAS facilities, platforms and marketing. The new airlines are to help SAS react to changing market demands to stay competitive.
SAS Link hasn't yet begun operations. But you can still book with SAS Airlines with Alternative Airlines today.

Checked Baggage
Please complete your Airjet booking, during which information regarding passenger baggage allowance will be detailed. If the airline allows it, you will also be able to add additional baggage to your booking.
Cabin Classes
SAS Link is expected to have an all-economy fleet due to it operating as a low-cost carrier. The airline is planning on operating the Embraer 195 aircraft which means SAS Link may furnish their cabins with 2x2 across seating. However, because the airline hasn't yet launched and SAS Group haven't received these aircraft the configuration is unknown. It is expected that complimentary snacks and beverages won't be provided by the airline. However, more information will be provided once the airline has launched.
Check-In
Passengers flying with SAS Link can either check-in online or at the airport.
Online Check-in
SAS Group has announced that although operating under its own AOC the majority of its services and facilities will be SAS Airlines. This means that it is expected that the airline will allow their passengers to check-in online via the SAS Airlines website or App.
Airport Check-in
Additionally, it is anticipated that the airline will have airport check-in facilities. As the airline will use SAS facilities, passengers can expect to head to an SAS Airlines counter or kiosk when at the airport. However, as the airline is operating as a low-cost carrier it is unsure if there will be rules based on ticket type for airport check-in.
In-Flight Entertainment
Being a low-cost European airline it is not expected that in-flight entertainment will be provided. However, there should be the airline's magazine in the seat pocket for you to browse.
Wi-Fi
Mainline SAS Airlines have installed Wifi facilities on their aircraft at an additional charge for select passengers. It is unknown if the new Embraer 195 aircraft will have this installed for SAS Link to offer it as an option.
Food & Drink
Parent company SAS Airlines doesn't offer complimentary snacks and beverages on their European flights for economy passengers. It is expected that this will be the same for SAS Link, that complimentary snacks won't be provided for anyone. However, it is expected that a purchasable service will be available during the flight.
Alternatives to SAS Link
There are numerous airlines across Denmark and the Nordic nations with which you could choose to fly with. Some may include Finnair, Lufthansa, TUIfly Nordic, Norra, Sunclass, airBaltic and more.

Hub Airport
Copengagen Kastrup Airport
Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is set to be SAS Link's hub airport and where the airline will initially begin operating from. The airline plans to operate northern European services directly from Copenhagen. Kastrup airport is already a hub of SAS Airlines, which offers onward connections to both European and international destinations. This will make transfers even easier for SAS Link passengers as they will be able to connect onto a SAS or SAS Connect service. The airport also boasts a wide range of airlines and destinations across Europe and internationally for you to choose from. The airport is currently served by Easyjet, British Airways, Delta, Emirates, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Sunclass and more. You can easily travel from Copenhagen to a diverse route network including Doha, London, Berlin, Bangkok, Rome, Beirut, Dubai, New York and others. Copenhagen Airport is served by both rail and metro services as well as a bus link making it easy to get to the airport from central Copenhagen or from further afield.
Fleet
SAS Link is expected to operate a fleet of 6 Embraer 195 aircraft once launched.
Frequent Flyer Programme
As SAS Link will utilise a large part of SAS Airlines facilities, it is expected that members of the EuroBonus programme will be able to redeem and be rewarded for flying with SAS Link.
Airline Alliance
As SAS Airlines is already a member of Star Alliance it may be possible that SAS Link will become an affiliate member, however, this is unsure and will be decided by SAS upon the airline's launch.
