Aero Mongolia is one of the two national airlines of Mongolia and operates domestic flights to over 10 destinations (from December 2014) and international services to Hohhot and Urumqi in China and Irkutsk in Russia.
Aero Mongolia is headquartered in the Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulan Bator and was in 2001 and took airline permission in 2002. The parent company is Monnis Group. Aero Mongolia flies to Mongolia (Ulan Bator, Tavantolgi, Olgii, Ulaangom, Altai, Murun, Khovd, Dalanzadgadd, Ovoot, Oyu Tolgoi), China (Hohhot) and Russia (Irkutsk).
Aero Mongolia also offers a charter service whereby chartering an Aero Mongolia airline aircraft offers flexibility to schedule air transportation to over 10 towns and communities throughout Mongolia, with experienced crews capable of flying a mission. In-flight amenities range from snacks, gourmet meals and other amenities. AERO MONGOLIA airline offers specialised contract charter services designed to meet specific client needs and to ensure the availability of aircraft and crews on a dedicated basis. If necessary, as in the case of medevac contracts or scientific studies, planes can be retrofitted with specialised equipment.

Passengers on Aero Mongolia flights are allowed a maximum of 5kg of carry-on baggage.
Carry-on baggage must fit in the overhead lockers above you or under the seat in front of you. Please don't pack any prohibited items in your carry-on baggage such as liquids over 100ml. Any prohibited items found in your carry-on baggage will be removed and disposed of at airport security.
Passengers on Aero Mongolia are allowed a maximum of 15kg of checked baggage. However, the 15kg weight allowance is inclusive of carry-on baggage too. For example, if a passenger has 5kg of carry-on baggage, they would have 10kg of checked baggage remaining.
Infants ages 0-12 months are allowed to bring 1 foldable stroller at no additional charge.
A light snack or beverage may be served on selected flights.
The 17” wide e-leather seats are arranged in a 2-2 layout with a comfortable 32 inches pitch throughout the cabin. The larger Fokker 100 which has a seating capacity of 100, has a 2-3 seat configuration with a roomier seat pitch of 34 inches.
Unfortunately, Aero Mongolia doesn't offer online check-in for any of its flights.
Passengers on Aero Mongolia flights must check in at the airport. This can be done by visiting any of the Aero Mongolia check-in counters at the marked Aero Mongolia check-in desks. Airport check-in opens two hours before the flight is scheduled to leave and closes 30 minutes before.
Aero Mongolia doesn't offer its passengers any in-flight entertainment. We advise that you bring your own form of entertainment for your Aero Mongolia flight journey.
