Air Cairo passengers can check in online prior to their flight departure. Alternatively, Air Cairo passengers can also check in at the airport.
Online Check-in
Online check-in for Air Cairo opens 48 hours before the scheduled departure and closes 90 minutes prior to the flight departure time. As boarding gates close 30 minutes before flight departure, passengers are advised to arrive for security checks and boarding no later than 45 minutes prior to flight departure time. Air Cairo deal with an unruly passenger
Air Cairo was put in a difficult situation earlier this week when they had to contend with a passenger assaulting a crew member on an Air Cairo flight which was flying from Hurghada beach resort town in Egypt to Hanover in Germany. The other crew members dealt with the other crew members and passengers to overpower the unruly traveller and tied him to a seat to ensure the safety of the flight. The 27-year-old passenger was later handed over to the German federal police on landing at Hanover International Airport. The assault was caused by the man locking himself in a toilet cubicle to smoke, breaking airline violations. When the flight attendent worked to remove him, the assault occurred. Well done Air Cairo for dealing with this situation!
