Alternative Airlines is an authorised merchant. Users do not pay a fee to Venmo when making a payment to an authorized merchant from a linked bank account, debit card or your Venmo balance. Venmo doesn't charge for basic services like sending money. It is free to receive and withdraw money into your Venmo account. Standard transfer to your bank account is free.

When your available Venmo balance can’t cover the entire amount of a particular transaction, Venmo will use your preferred payment method.
